We are pleased to inform you that the Global Traditional Taekwondo Federation – GTTF European Championships 2026 will take place on the 31st October 2026 in Baden near Vienna.
The GTTF will celebrate a Taekwondo festival this year Hanmadang – this is a somehow different Taekwondo competition. Here you will find competition categories that can be found at no other Taekwondo tournament. Our main focus is to celebrate Taekwondo in all of its facets and the cultural exchange with Korea, the motherland of Taekwondo.
Categories:
• Poomsae (two participants compete against each other, determined by flags)
• Kyorugi without electronic equipment. Full contact style points to be awarded by the referees. Punch 1 point, body kick 2 points, head kick 3 points.
• Breaking tests and high jump/long jump breaking tests (counting broken boards)
• Other competitions (children’s competitions on electronic punching bags and pads)
NOTE: A referee training will be given before the event. Please note that each International Referee is responsible for arranging and covering the cost of their own round-trip airfare. The Organizing Committee will provide accommodation (shared double room) and full board for the duration of the event. Check-in at the designated referee Hotel is scheduled for 30 October 2026, with check-out latest on 1 Nov 2026. The Organizing Committee will provide:
• Local transportation
• A per diem of EUR 120.- per competition day (cash or via bank transfer)

Kindly confirm your interest with esmated arrival and departure dates no later than 31 August 2026. Referee invitations will be sent out by September 4th 2026.
